Will your habits propel you to wealth or drive you to poverty?
While you may not be the next Bill Gates or Oprah, you can significantly increase your chances of success (whatever your definition of success is).
Let’s just take in the whole “Goal setting” portion. Fully 80% of the world’s wealthiest people set and focus on achieving their goals. While only 12% of the poor do so.
- Do wealthy people have some magic, mystical power that poor do not to set a goal?
- Do wealthy People know a secret that they are hiding from the poor?
- Are wealthy people genetically predisposed to setting and achieving goals?
Well, the answer is a resounding NO to all 3 questions. Heck, just look at the rags to riches stories of John, Oprah and Howard. All started in poverty and built empires for themselves.
So the big question remains… What are you doing to to achieve success? Do you have goals? And not those mamby pamby New Years Resolutions you have probably already forgotten about. But real, written down and achievable goals?
IF not… STOP right now and write down a goal. No really, do it NOW. Business, life, spiritual, whatever. Just write it down
Now, give it a deadline… What?? You thought this would be easy?
Now for the big whopper. Tell someone your goal and ask them to follow up with you in a week. Yep, you NEED someone to keep you accountable. Otherwise this goal may never happen.
What other traits do you have in common with the wealthiest people in the world? More than you think, I would imagine.
