Disney Springs Set to Open

While it may not be a new theme park, Disney’s re-imagined (Disney speak for renovation) Disney Springs shopping area is set to open later this Spring.  The theme park’s official blog announced Disney Springs will open the Town Center, one of the marketplace’s new “neighborhoods,” with new locations opening as soon as May 15. “By July 1, 2016, the majority of these new venues will be open to guests, alongside some great new f ood and beverage offerings,” said the blog.

Even though it is not a new hotel, ride or park, Disney Springs will provide more activities for Orlando’s visitors. The Orlando Business Journal reports “Shopping is a major part of the vacation experience in Orlando, with tourists spending upward of $1,000 or more on merchandise alone. So the debut of Disney Springs’ retail shop may not attract new visitors, but it could encourage longer stays in the region to fit in a shopping day.”

Disney re-imagines their resorts and attractions on a fairly regular basis to keep guests interested, engaged and of course, coming back to spend more. When was the last time YOU re-imagined an area of your business? How does your waiting room look? The lettering on your vehicle? Your uniforms?

Now would be a good time to do a walk-through of your business and look at areas that may need a bit of sprucing up. Better yet, can you re-imagine an area to bring in new or more income? A new service? Take a moment to look at your business through a different lens and see where a new or improved opportunity may be waiting to be RE-IMAGINED.
